I’ve been blogging constantly and without significant break for ten years and a few months. That is a long time. I’ve won two Best Arts & Crafts Blog in Ireland awards for EvinOK.com (2014 and 2017) and was led the content team at my former employer to a win in the Best Corporate Marketing Blog category (2016, you can read some of my posts for that blog here). Occasionally, I reply directly to a blog visitor asking if they were to start and spend a few hours a week on a side blog, to earn €800+/month on the side, what topic is best. I’ll admit, I don’t have any advice for this. It takes a lot of work to make money from a blog. It is necessary to establish yourself as a source of expertise in order to get visitors and loyalty, then you can start making the big money. There are exceptions and I applaud their success, but I feel realistic goals and expectations are essential here. But if that is your goal in reading this post, here are some articles:
