Lilly Higgins‘s second book Lilly’s Dream Deli: Heavenly Food, Every Day
is a collection of the recipes she has tried, tested and set aside for her own dream deli. LB and I enjoyed attending the launch event held at Farmgate Cafe in Cork’s English Market two months ago. Having tried a few of the dishes at the launch event, I must agree with the dream part. But you can see for yourself with these photos. While Lilly was talking about her recipes and book and thanking those who support her, LB listened intently.
He also learned to eat sugar cubes from Lilly’s older son. A sticky habit.
I still haven’t been in Cork and I have a feeling I will like it. Too bad that even if I go there I won’t get any Lily’s food, but well I can always get her book 🙂
