Fred’s Last Hoorah

Two weeks go, C and I went to Fred‘s last ever show. It was bittersweet. Sweet to see them perform such a magical concert, but sad we won’t get to see them perform again together. The show was at The Pavilion in their hometown of Cork so such energy!

Niall Connolly joined the band to perform ‘Jesus Is Coming (And I Can’t Pay The Rent)’ which was AMAZING.

So many members of the band past and present plus musicians who’ve played with Fred in the past (and a special Dad) came together for the evening.

It was a memorable and epic night. Not the least of which was the fact that as parents to a toddler, we rarely get out to see live music. I think the last time was when we saw Bruce Springsteen this summer with Kate and her Dad. But that’s a story for another blog post.
