I recently visited Yarns Etc in Chapel Hill, NC to deliver a few copies of my book for them to sell and happened to be there while they were clearing out their old vintage patterns to make way in their pattern and book room for newer more modern periodicals. I ran across this fabulous pattern for a pullover sweater and had to get it for my Knitmas 2014 gift. But wanted to share it here too because though it is very dated from her hair style to the way it is styled, the pattern itself has a rather timelessness about it. But wouldn’t colorwork need to, given the effort involved?
