They’re not just for your garden anymore, gnomes are making their way into homes everywhere with their effigy-like appearance and innocent looks. I know I am not alone when I admit that I love garden gnomes. It all started when I was staying in France and we’d often drive past a pottery place in Bayeux. There were gnomes of all shapes and sizes out front looking cheerful no matter the weather. For some reason, it stuck as a favorite of mine. The best part about loving garden gnomes is that they are not so available to get gnome overload. Occasionally, I run across a fun gnome pattern (or item) and sometimes it is even practical! I personally LOVE garden gnomes and find it can be challenging to find good patterns for them so I hope this list has been a treasure trove of options for fellow gnome lovers. As always, respect the pattern designer’s copyright and rules for pattern use. There’s even a Flickr group to inspire and share.
These are really cute! The list of blogs and patterns is so helpful.
