With my birthday and Christmas approaching, I am making a list of my personal wish list items. This is a bit of a tradition and just for my family. Which now that I write it, it hits me that I started this for my parents and they’re gone. When I was a kid, I would make a little collage booklet for them with my wish list items. This continued in some way until my mid-20s, then I started making a web page with the list. Those hyperlinks were fun that first time! Fast forward to 2008 when I started blogging and my wish list followed along. Here is my list from 2014. So, this post is fairly whimsical and meaningless, except for me.
I’ll choose one or two items off this list of gift ideas for me to treat myself for my birthday and Christmas. You know I go all out and wrap them to put them under the tree too! Even though I don’t buy or may never own many of these things, that’s ok because I appreciate that they exist in the universe. And maybe you’ll discover something new you love.
Top of my list…
Kingsley Hotel, Riverside Park Hotel, or some other spa visit

That’s the list of gift ideas for me to treat myself. Admittedly, I already bought myself a watercolour set in a tin and a mini easel and paper set in a tin (for on the go painting) and a water bottle (I have a usual one but it’s my bedside one and when I bring it out I forget it in my bag then don’t have a bedside one). They’re wrapped and under the Christmas tree and because I have a lot going on right now, if I’m lucky I will forget I got them for myself and be surprised on Christmas morning.
