Favorite Purchases We’ve Made for Our Home, Garden, and Pond.

As a child, our neighbour had a koi pond in their backyard and later I worked for a wonderful consultancy in DC which had a koi pond in their garden as well. I loved the peacefulness of sitting beside the pond. The sound of the gentle fountain noises. Surprise, we then bought a house with a pond! So I learned how to clean and maintain it. It took a lot of reading and some strategic purchases, so I’m sharing a list of my favorite purchases we’ve made for our home, garden, and pond.

I posted a previous list like this and it was popular, so I’m posting another. This is a brief list of the things we’ve been loving in our life lately with links to the exact same (or super similar) items online. Click on the image to see the full product info on Amazon.co.uk – or copy and paste the description in a search engine to look for the item outside Amazon.

Please note, the Amazon.co.uk links earn me a tiny affiliate amount if you make a purchase paid to me by Amazon, not your purchase. I do not use any other affiliate program and make about £10/year from this program. You know why I don’t make more? Because I’m telling you right now to use this list and shop locally, preferably in non-chain stores in your area. You will make a difference to your local economy.

Why are you featuring a photo of a stranger’s front door in your post about your own new home? It’s deceptive and weird. If you don’t want to post your own front door for privacy reasons, just don’t post a front door.

Fair enough, I am sorry I posted a photo of your front door without your permission. I’ve removed it. It is a really lovely inspiring shade of orange the previous owners chose, which is why I shared it. It has the vibrant warmth we all hope for in our homes.
