Cassiopeia KAL Update: How it started & how it’s going

It’s 14 days in and the Cassiopeia KAL is going swimmingly. We had our Cast On Zoom Party on January 20th hosted by Python Charms and then met again the next week on the 27th. It is a casual way to knit together and share progress, while also enjoying a lovely sense of community in a time when we cannot be together. Having the meet-ups on Zoom also allows anyone to join. Our first Zoom was attended by knitters from Ireland to California!

On Zoom

We next meet tomorrow at 7pm Irish time (2pm EST / 11am PST). As always, the hub for all things #CassiopeiaKAL is on PythonCharms website. The #cassiopeiakal hashtag is a great way to follow along with knitters’ progress.

The Pattern

The individual Cassiopeia Mini Skein Shawl pattern is available from LoveCrafts and from Ravelry. Print copies of the book are available from a variety of bookstores.
