Sometimes I forget that Etsy has everything, then they remind me. No really, they emailed me and asked if I wanted to go on an Etsy shopping spree. Evidently, the creative masterminds over at Etsy love my blog and how I find the most random things to craft with. I was chuffed and speechless, aside from a very quick and definitely YES. This is the first in a series of posts about what I bought with my Etsy money.
I drooled, I wanted, so I ordered the Smudge Yarns Club and then the first instalment arrived and I was over the moon because it is a gradient set! Swoon! But don’t just take my word for it, here are photos. Really, the text in this post is unnecessary as it’s all about these squishy beauties.
Then the parcel arrived. I’m a sucker for chevron.
Fresh from the package, at sunset, this is just delicious and the blues feel like the varied blues of a favorite shirt I had when I was in college. Soft, well worn, and deep as the ocean. I’m a little bit in love with the Smudge Yarns gradient.
Such rich blues.
Four skeins. A treasure.
What a perfect twist for a strong yarn.
This is not exactly true to the colors (blame sunset), but beautiful and shows the variations of the gradient.
What do you think? Have you knit with Smudge Yarns yet? What’s your favorite Etsy buy lately?
Disclosure: To be clear, Etsy gave me the funds, but no direction on how to spend it.
Gorgeous blues…
Like a gaze into the sea!
