Fibre Feis 2015

Writing about Carol Feller‘s Short Row Knits book inspired me to share a little about this year’s Fibre Feis and seeing some of her designs up close. But Fibre Feis is about more than just knitting and seeing what everyone has knitted lately, it’s about being together. Taking time away from the everyday to just be together. This year’s event was held in West Cork as usual and sponsored by Mountain Man Brewing Co. I brought gluten-free vegan salads and my husband and LB. It was just wonderful to see my fabulous fibre sisterhood, most of whom are also part of the Knitmas gang, away from the demands of daily life and catch up. Here are a few photos from the event. Yes, they’re all of WIPs and cinnamon rolls.
