In my university days, there was a day of the week just for soft pretzels. Of course, that was Philadelphia for you. Soft pretzels have always had a special place in my heart (and appetite) so I’m thinking that one of these days I should learn to make them at home. Completely Delicious has a recipe that offers photos along the process and a result that would make Auntie Anne proud. Ultimately, I opted for Alton Brown’s recipe. Here is the result. I made a cheesy dip using warm cream cheese and Ballymaloe relish.
