Knitting can be a very comforting and relaxing activity, especially in cold weather when you might be spending more time indoors with the autumn chill in the air. Wrapping yourself in a warm and soft knitted blanket or wearing a cozy hat can make you feel comforted and warm, even on the coldest days. Add in a splash of the start of Samhain and it’s reason enough to make a list of fun Halloween knitting patterns for spooktober.
Disclaimer: I’m linking to Ravelry for these, but when possible include a link to an alternative website. Amazon.co.uk links are affiliate links and I earn about €5/year from all the linking I do because honestly it’s just handy to go look at the item specs and then shop for the item locally.
Knit Pumpkins:
Here is a long list of free decorative stuffed pumpkin knitting patterns. I’ve found the Addi CraSyTrio set essential for knitting these in the round with ease. The set is much easier than straight DPNs. The stitches remain on two needles while knitting with a third and you rotate using them.
