No Sew Statement Tea Cosy for Last-Minute Semi-Handmade Gift

Tea cosies are quite popular over here in Ireland and also in Britain. It goes with the love of tea but also it can get quite chilly so it makes sense to insulate the teapot a bit so it stays warm. It is easy enough to buy a plain tea cosy but to add a certain flair or personality, all it takes is about an hour and some basic supplies. You can choose any short phrase, name or shape to add to the tea cosy. I chose “I *heart* Tay” because it is whimsical and this was meant for my husband. But even a simple heart would do the trick.
