I previously wrote about the beautiful and fun gifts sent to me by In The Book, so today I want to go over what I’ve been sharing on my Instagram about creative gift wrapping.
How I Do It
- I love using supplies again and again, so my ribbon box is filled with options.
- Whenever possible, I source plain paper that has no metallic or glitter or plastic in it, so it can be recycled or even composted!
- Vegetable-based ink for rubber stamping is a fun way to personalise the paper and involve the kids.
- Adding an unexpected or related item to the outside of the gift can be fun, like colored pencils bundled together in a ribbon or a homemade pompom!
What I Did This Year
Here are photos of the In The Book gifts I wrapped for under this year’s Christmas tree!
Fabric and Ribbon, which are part of the gift because you know I love sewing.
An ornament that can be added to the tree
I’ve had this ribbon for AGES! It just keeps getting used again and again.
A happy pompom with leftover yarn. It’ll adorn the top of a knit hat soon enough.
